Vegan Artichoke Jalapeno Dip

This tastes just like the original! Not calorie free, by any means, but it’s delicious!
Chips and dip is one of my favorite foods. My family enjoyed a good mix of homemade dips and store bought ones. One particular store bought dip I was wanting to recreate was Artichoke Jalapeno dip! I remember it being a creamy dip, with nice chunks of artichokes and pickled jalapenos, but also some big shreds of parmesan cheese.
So for my vegan version, all I had to do was swap out the creamy base and the parmesan cheese for vegan counterparts. So easy and so effective! Vegan Artichoke Jalapeno Dip really does come together quickly and very easily. The creamy base in this recipe was made up of vegan mayonnaise and vegan plain cream cheese. One advantage to using vegan cream cheese over non-vegan dairy cream cheese is you don’t have to wait for it to soften. At least not the brand I used (Miyokos Creamery). It went from the fridge to the mixing bowl and mixed right up, no waiting necessary!
Ingredients for Vegan Artichoke Jalapeno Dip
- Vegan Artichoke Jalapeno Dip doesn’t take too many ingredients! You just need:
- Vegan Mayonnaise
- Vegan Plain Cream Cheese
- Vegan Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Garlic
- Canned Artichoke Hearts
- Pickled Jalapenos
That’s it! And then it’s just a matter mixing it all together and then allowing it to chill for a bit. Chilling your Vegan Artichoke Jalapeno dip really is best served cold. But I’m sure there are version you can make that are baked and get nice and browned and bubbly on the top. Yum! That’s a whole different recipe though.
